McDonald Corporation was founded in 1989 by Charles A. McDonald. Mr. McDonald was born and raised in Stark County, Ohio. Charles graduated from Walsh University with a degree in management and finance and he is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Ohio. Since it's humble beginnings, Charles has grown his company into a full service real estate development company. McDonald Corporation builds single family homes, villas, and condominiums, designs, builds, and develops multifamily and apartment complexes, office, retail, and industrial centers, as well as construction management, property management, leasing and brokerage services.

McDonald is past president of the Building Industry Association of Stark County and a past board member of the St. Joseph's Federal Credit Union and Walsh Univrsity's Alumni Association. He is a serving board member of the Jackson Belden Chamber of Commerce.
